Toissa viikonloppuna lähdimme Denisen kanssa viettämään lauantai päivää Jongnoon ja päädyimme Myeongdongilla näkemään pian alkavan AOA-yhtyeen fansign eventistä aiheutuneen kauhistuttavan fanimies lauman. Sekä siinä tohinassa törmäsimme toiseen fanilaumaan ja päädyimme seuraamaan mitä sen keskellä tapahtui. Paikalla esiintyi katutanssiryhmä, todella lahjakkaita tapauksia, ja kotona lähdimme tutkimaan lisää heidän menojaan. Löysimme tiedon, että heillä oli viime viikolla showcase, johon sitten ostimme liput ja lauantaina kävimme sen katsomassa.
A week ago on Saturday we left to Jongno with Denise. We ended up going to Myeongdong and found out that there was AOA girl groups fansign event starting, which of course caused an emergeous amount of fan boys lining up on the streets. We also found another group of fans and ended up checking out what was going on. On that spot there was a street dance group, a really talented one, having their performance going on. Back at home we started looking information about the group and found out that they had and showcase last weekend. We got ourselves tickets to there and on Saturday we went to see it.
Olimme tietenkin paikalla ainoat ulkomaalaiset, joten saimme erityisen paljon huomiota tanssiryhmäläisiltä ja onneks heillä oli englantia taitava henkilö paikalla tulkkaamassa, koska olimme turhan hukassa puolet ajasta. Tanssien, laulujen ja pelien jälkeen pystyi ryhmäläisten kanssa ottaa vielä kuvia ja jutella ennen kuin lähti. Denise otti kaikkien poikien kanssa kuvat, itse en olisi halunnut yhteenkään kuvaan, mutta lopulta pari poikaa vetivät minut kainaloonsa, ja yksi sitten tuli kertomaan meille huonolla englannillaan, että he esiintyisivät huomenna Hyehwan aseman vieressä kello kolme ja toivoi, että menisimme paikalle.
Of course we were the only foreigners around so we got a lot of attention from the group but luckily there was person who could speak english so the MC used her as a translator, we were lost half of the time so it was good that there was an english speaking person as well. After the dances, songs and games we could take photos and chat with the members until we left. Denise took photos with everyone, I wasn't going to take any but in the end I was pulled into someones arms and had to take the photos. Also one of the guys came to us and started mumbling with his cute konglish that they would be performing in Hyehwa at three o'clock tomorrow and he was hoping that we would go there.
No sunnuntainahan kun ei ollut muutakaan tekemistä niin suuntasimme sitten Hyehwaan katsomaan tansseja jälleen. Kyseinen tapahtuma oli eräänlainen free hugs flashmob, tai siis eihän se tietenkään flashmob ollut, mutta kun paikalle saavuimme niin siellä oli halailut menossa ja ei mennyt pitkään kun eilen meidät kutsunut poika jo juoksi luoksemme halimaan. Moni muukin ryhmän jäsenistä tuli oikein onnessaan luoksemme (yksi huusi ja pitkän matkan päästä saksatyttö, suomityttö MOI!) ja tietenkin tiedustelivat muistammeko heidät.. Halailujen jälkeen sitten ryhmä esiintyi noin puolentoista tunnin ajan ennen kuin tapahtuma oli ohi.
Well since we didn't have anything else to do on Sunday we headed to Hyeahwa to check out the dances again. The event was somekind of free hugs flashmob, well of course it was not a flashmob, but when we arrived the hugging was going on and it didn't take that long until, the guy who invited us to go, was already running to us and shared hugs. Many other group members as well came to us excited (one of them was screaming to us from some distance "german girl, finland girl, hiiii") and of course some of them were asking if we remember them... After the hugging the group was performing for about 90 minutes before the event was over.
Jälleen saimme sitä huomiota osaksemme, tällä kertaa kuitenkin suhteellisissa määrin emmekä olleet noloina koko aikaa, koska huomiota ei osoitettu niin henkilökohtaisesti kuin lauantaina. Tapahtuman jälkeen, lauantaina tulkkaillut tyttö laittoi meille viestiä että, pojat kiittivät siitä kun tulimme jälleen kerran katsomaan ja kyselivät mitä pidimme esityksistä taas. Tyttö myös kehotti meitä ottamaan häneen rohkeasti yhteyttä mikäli haluamme tietää jatkossakin olevista esityksistä. Ei huolta, sen teemme! Ja tässä nyt läjäpäittäin videoita kolmelta kerralta. :)
Again we got some attention towards us, but this time it was decent amount, and not so personal as it was on Saturday, so we weren't that embrassed all the time. After the event, the translator from Saturday, send us a message telling that the guys were thanking us for coming again and were asking how we liked the shows. The girl also told us to send her a message anytime when we want to know about the performances in the future. No worries, we will do so! And here we go, some videos from the three events. :)
